This piece was produced during Covid lockdown in honour of the NHS staff who worked so hard during the pandemic.

The piece took 10 days to produce (no interruptions in lockdown) and comprised 1500 hexagons. I took a photo of every hexagon added and made a stopgap video below for you to view.

I set up a charity webpage whilst producing this piece and posted progress daily on Facebook to gain support. £625 was raised for the NHS Charity.

​

On completion of the work the piece was auctioned ring further money for the NHS and the winner donated it to a local healthcare provider.
